Tana Gaxiola Mexico, b. 1979

Overview

Tana Gaxiola is a Mexican artist inspired by nature and its constant movement. Her work seeks to observe, capture and transform natural rhythms into a personal visual universe, where exploration and curiosity guide each creative process. Nature is both her primary source of inspiration and an endless field for learning, discovery and new forms of expression.

Painting is her space for introspection and self-discovery, a medium through which she continually explores and deepens her understanding of herself and her surroundings. This ongoing dialogue between inner experience and external observation shapes the emotional depth of her work.

Tana Gaxiola embraces a wide range of creative projects, from studio painting to large-scale murals and meaningful collaborations, and her work has been featured in international media such as Marie Claire, AD and Design Hunter. She believes in life as an opportunity for constant reinvention and personal growth, viewing art as a means to share strength, creativity and optimism with the world. Her practice is guided by gratitude, curiosity and a commitment to continual artistic evolution.
