ARTitude Galería was founded in 2017 by Holly Turner-Thakran as an independent gallery dedicated primarily to the promotion of contemporary Latin American art, with a strong focus on Colombia and Mexico. From its inception, the gallery was conceived as a space of cultural memory and transmission, rooted in Holly Turner-Thakran’s deep commitment to bringing Latin American artistic voices to Asia.
Nestled in a charming corner of Dempsey Hill, the gallery showcases a vibrant community of emerging artists who work across mediums, pushing boundaries and redefining expectations.
In 2026, the gallery enters a new chapter with the appointment of Alexandra Varrey as Gallery Director. Leading the new phase of curatorial development, she brings a renewed strategic vision that reinforces the gallery’s identity while expanding its international scope. This evolution is reflected in an ambitious programme that introduces new artists from Southeast Asia and beyond, further enriching its cross-cultural dialogue.
As an inclusive and socially conscious space, ARTitude Galería actively supports diverse contemporary identities, with particular attention to voices that have historically been marginalised. In doing so, the gallery continues to honour the vision and legacy of its founder, preserving Latin American culture as a living, evolving presence while opening it to meaningful global conversations.
