About José Del Río

José Del Río, born and raised in Mexico is an underwater nature, landscape, animal and conservationist photographer. After completing his studies in film, he first ventured into producing commercials and documentaries. At the same time, he also combined photography into various fields such as advertising, reporting, portraiture, landscape and underwater nature. His most important objective in his field of work would be to be a conservation photographer.

José Del Río's work is the combination of many years of exploration and exercises of success and error in advertising photography. It achieves images not only as a result of well-applied techniques but through the addition of a refined and particular aesthetic style to capture the essence and convey emotion. He believes in generating emotions with his work which adds up as the sum of his passions.

He has a passion for capturing unrepeatable moments, for the combination of unpredictable elements that make up his photographs, all with an expressive style and a very particular sense of beauty. He believes in seeing nature in angles, in lines with perspective, drawn with lights and shadows.
