The play presents the North not as a cardinal point, but as an insistent, almost mythical idea that guides the desires and movements of the inhabitants of the South. The character, fragmented and almost mechanical, embodies the migrant who reinvents himself along the way. His identity is constructed and dismantled as he moves forward, carrying memories, losses, and expectations.
