The passage of time leaves traces, living things grow and the elements erode. The materials wear out ; in a sense everything becomes transferred and the accumulation of time is inevitable. In these works Cacho masterfully creates an appearance of deterioration, particularly on the back drop. In addition to the intrigue, interest, complexity and charm in his harmonic visual experience, it also allows him to share his vision on the aging process. Cacho interprets the aging process as a positive experience, where one has the opportunity to accumulate knowledge and wisdom, allowing us to fully reap the rewards of our life and the entirety of our lifespan.
