This work is structured around a gestural, divided background, with gray, blue, and white colors evoking an unstable, atmospheric field where there is no solid ground. The background is not a welcoming space but a field of tension. The human figure is caught between the need to belong and the impossibility of inhabiting the concept of home. Sometimes, if not always, the hardest battles are fought at home.
