This work is a part of Julio Parra’s series of mixed-media decollage works. Using fragmented words and letters, repeated patterns and distorted symbols, Parra’s works depicts what he describes as “a feedback loop of ideas that repeat or strengthen over time”. Colour is used deliberately, sometimes vibrant, sometimes abrasive, to convey what Parra describes as “internal noise,” where order and chaos coexist.
