This work is part of a diptych, though each piece is available for individual acquisition.
It explores subtle transitions, reflecting a shared underlying current. Even when separated - across different rooms or spaces - a quiet dialogue endures, as if something continues to flow from one to the other, forming a continuity that is both distinct and whole.
There is also a strong sense of movement in the composition, shaped by Catherine’s sensitivity to drapery, a language inherited from her mother, who was a seamstress. The folds unfold like fabric in motion, creating a rhythm that feels both structured and fluid, where material, memory, and gesture come together in a seamless flow.
