Parallel Narratives brings together Braxton Fuller, Rai Julian, Javier Caraballo, and Song Wei in an exhibition shaped by personal experience and the many ways it can be translated into visual form. Through abstraction, reinterpretation, symbolism, and text, the exhibition considers how memory, emotion, and everyday life take shape as image, revealing how personal narratives can resonate beyond the self.

Each artist approaches storytelling through a distinct visual language. Braxton Fuller uses text-based works to create spaces of introspection, emotional tension, and subtle humour. Rai Julian draws on lived experience, community, and memory, creating vibrant paintings that hold both intimacy and openness. Javier Caraballo reinterprets familiar visual references through gestures inspired by childhood mark-making, bringing innocence, instinct, and play into dialogue with art history. Song Wei explores the tension between tradition and contemporary life, juxtaposing cultural symbolism with everyday imagery to reflect questions of identity, change, and negotiation.

Together, the four artists present parallel yet distinct modes of storytelling.
